Bosnia is not a developed tourist country, although it has a high natural potential for tourism development.
In Bosnia there are mostly natural beauty, there is no mass tourism, which could compromise the attractions. This is a hilly country, covered by lush forest, intersected by valleys and canyons with bright and clear mountain rivers. Much snow falls in winter, so the rivers are full of water even in summer, which is perfect for a trip between the rapids and brilliant canyons, where flows blue-green water of Neretva River. Narrow, winding mountain gravel roads lead us on drill ridges with panoramic views. All around is tranquility and peace. Green forest and blue sky envelops us in a veil of fable.
Our goal in Bosnia is rafting on the Neretva River. There, where we find the ethnic villages with local hospitable and friendly people, who will accompany us in the raft through the more beautiful canyon in Bosnia. After rafting, dining with the Bosnian grilled specialties, other dishes cooked in the ashes and fresh trout caught in the clear river.
Only one river in Herzegovina didn’t disappear underground and it with its affluent streams form one of the most beautiful valleys. That’s river Neretva, “Nil” of herzegovina, waterway and, “source of life” for this region. It managed with its power to owercome giants of mountains and reached its overlasting aim-thesea.
